So how can mummies work from home? I thought I’d first blog a little about my day! And then let you find out more about how you can be a work from home mummy!
Coping With Two!
Fortunately my toddler normally wakes up earlier than my 12 week old baby so I can get him nappy changed, dressed and made breakfast before the mini one wakes up! So when they wake up at the same time I’m in a right tizz!
This morning I shower and put Toriana in her bouncy chair while Tommy washes his dinosaurs with my soap! So our tiny bathroom is rather busy!
I have the biggest ironing pile ever (as just washed all the 3-6 month clothing for Toriana!) Where did the last 12 weeks go?!
When we got back from lunch with grandad, Tommy watched a bit of TV and Toriana slept! So I had a brainwave to do some ironing! I hate looking at that massive pile! So there I am frantically (but safely) ironing as fast as I can! I try and get as much done as I can before bubba wakes up! Then about 10 mins later I hear this little cry! Dammit, I’ve only ironed about 5 out of 5000 items of clothing!
Anyway it’s almost time for dinner! I get on with that: pasta for Tommy, fish & veg for the other half and jacket potato for grandad and me (as we’d had fish & chips for lunch)! Yummy!
So the time is now as I’m writing this! Toriana is on me feeding/sleeping so I can’t do the ironing but what I can do is blog!
Even though I literally have no spare time as I am always with my little beauties, then I can just about do a bit of work to earn money from home!
My dad asked me earlier if I watched this programme or that programme and I said ‘no’! I don’t really get to watch TV! So you could say I’m sacrificing my evenings! But at the end of the day is watching TV going to allow us to take exotic holidays abroad or to live in our dream home etc?! No!
So while my toddler and baby are sleeping, I’d rather be working towards my goals!
